Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Givvii (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users worldwide, including viewers, creators, and visitors.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Givvii. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you are under 13, you may not use Givvii.

By using Givvii, you represent that:

• You are legally capable of entering into these Terms.
• You are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law.
• All information you provide is accurate and up to date.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• All activity that happens under your account.
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not:

• Create multiple accounts to abuse the platform (e.g., fake gifting, referral fraud).
• Sell, transfer, or share your account with others.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Content & Ownership

You retain full ownership of any videos, audio, text, or other content you upload ("Your Content").

By uploading content, you grant Givvii a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, distribute, encode, and promote your content on the platform and in marketing materials — solely for operating and promoting Givvii.

This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where we're required to retain it by law.

You represent that:

• You own or have permission to use all content you upload.
• Your content does not violate any third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.).
• Your content complies with all applicable laws.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene content.
• Upload content that violates copyright, trademark, or privacy rights.
• Upload sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance — reported to authorities).
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users.
• Spread misinformation, malware, or spam.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automation to inflate views, likes, or gifts.
• Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
• Engage in money laundering, fraud, or illegal financial activity.
• Violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction.

6. Coins & Gifts

Givvii coins are a virtual currency used to send gifts to creators.

Pricing

100 coins = $1 USD (or the local equivalent in your currency). Prices are automatically converted at checkout.

Purchases

Coin purchases are non-refundable once processed. Coins cannot be converted back to cash.

Refunds may be issued in cases of:

• Duplicate charges
• Unauthorized transactions (with proof)
• Technical errors on our side

Contact support@givvii.com within 7 days if any of the above happens.

Gifts

Gifts sent to creators are final and non-reversible. Only send gifts you genuinely intend to send.

7. Creator Earnings & Withdrawals

Revenue Share

• Standard creators: 80% of every gift goes to you. Givvii keeps 20%.
• Verified creators: 85% of every gift goes to you. Givvii keeps 15%.

Withdrawals

• Minimum withdrawal: 120 coins (about $1.20 USD or local equivalent).
• Processing time: 1 to 36 hours.
• Payout methods: Bank transfer, mobile money, or supported payment providers — availability depends on your country.
• Fees: Payment partner fees apply (varies by country and method).

Givvii reserves the right to withhold or delay withdrawals if we detect fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms.

Verification Requirement

Before your first withdrawal, you may be asked to verify your identity (KYC) as required by payment processors and anti-money-laundering laws.

8. Subscriptions

Verified Creator ($2 USD/month)

• Verified blue checkmark
• Revenue share increases to 85%
• Video upload limit raised to 100MB
• Priority support

Ad-Free Viewer ($6 USD/month)

• Removes all ads from your feed
• Cancel anytime

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Subscription. No refunds for partial months.

9. Taxes

You are solely responsible for any taxes on income you earn through Givvii. Givvii does not withhold or remit taxes on your behalf.

You can download a statement of earnings from your Profile → Earnings page anytime for tax filing purposes. We recommend consulting a local accountant.

10. Intellectual Property

All Givvii trademarks, logos, designs, code, and platform features are owned by Givvii Technologies. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.

If you believe your copyright has been infringed on Givvii, contact admin@givvii.com with the subject "DMCA" and the details of the infringement. We'll respond within 48 hours.

11. Termination

You can delete your account anytime from Settings → Account → Delete Account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraud or abuse
• Pose a risk to other users or Givvii

If your account is terminated for cause, you may forfeit any unused coins and pending earnings.

12. Limitation of Liability

Givvii is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Givvii Technologies is not liable for:

• Loss of income, data, or content
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Actions of other users
• Third-party service outages (payment processors, hosting providers, etc.)

Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid to Givvii in the last 12 months, or $50 USD — whichever is greater.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved informally. If unresolved, disputes will be settled through binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with Nigerian law.

You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or class action lawsuit.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll:

• Update the "Last updated" date at the top.
• Notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.

Continued use of Givvii after changes means you accept the new Terms.
